Tissues at the ready…

This is so much like my story with Rassilon, that it is difficult to read without remembering the early days.

From the start I got Rassilon on the foster to  adopt plan, so when I went to pick him up, I really had no idea of what I was going to get, and my first sight of him left me wondering if this would all work out.

But, as I have said before, after 3 days I contacted GAPSA and told them they weren’t getting him back. and things just keep getting better.

Oh, wow. Yes. When I got my GAP boy, Gent in March, he spent 6 weeks still on ‘race time’ which meant 5am starts and some manic behaviour. I was often in tears. In such a short space of time, really, all that anxiety (on both sides) just melted. So, yes, happy tears now, at holding on and getting the best friend I’ve ever known. Thanks for your lovely blog, so glad I found it!
